Child daycare & nursing – attractive occupations?
Research report on quantitative and qualitative research with adolescents and young adults aged 14 to 20 Years
Based on qualitative individual interviews in a representative survey among adolescents and young adults, this SINUS study provides insights into the recruitment and mode of addressing new applicants for jobs in daycare and nursing. The study focuses on the following aspects:
- Career choice of young people: occupational fields, activities and criteria
- Image of the professions daycare and nursing
- Information behavior and awareness regarding training paths in child daycare and nursing care
- Potential for upgrading
- Sinus Youth Milieus and their attitudes toward occupations in child daycare and nursing
- Identification of core and potential target groups for daycare and nursing care
