Digital participation of people with disabilities. Trend study.

Digital participation means that all people can use computers, tablets, cell phones, websites, programs or apps. Although there are already various studies on digital lifeworlds (also by SINUS, see here) and the associated access options and expectations, the group of people with disabilities is mostly not taken into account. This is where the SINUS study “Digital participation of people with disabilities” from 2020 comes in: based on a current trend analysis, tit examines the challenges of digitalization for the social participation of people with disabilities. The study offers a holistic picture with regard to the current opportunities and risks of digital participation for the current decade.
