Parents under pressure

Parents are high performers in our society. Without parents, society doesn’t function and has no future. Studies show that children do well when their parents do well. The 2008 study “Parents under pressure” therefore took a look at how parents were doing and what they needed. This was necessary, because in previous decades the external framework conditions (labor market, education system, family and kinship structures, social support systems) as well as people's lifestyles and life plans had changed considerably or become pluralized. Based on SINUS-Milieus, the study takes a differentiated look at the different life situations of parents.
