Social milieus and mental health

In various articles of the German-speaking journal "Psychosocial and Medical Rehabilitation" (2023-1) (121), a first light is shed on the possible applications, chances and limitations of the Sinus-Milieu approach in psychotherapeutic medicine.

After introductory contributions on the sociological view of society and health as well as on the conceptual foundations of the Sinus-Milieus and basic health-related data, the results of empirical surveys are presented. The focus here is on studies in an acute psychiatric clinic, in two psychosomatic rehabilitation clinics and in a large psychosomatic specialist clinic.
