The SINUS-Institut is part of the INTEGRAL-SINUS-OPINION group – a medium-sized group of companies, owner-managed and independent, and at the same time broadly networked with a large number of successful alliances and cooperations.
In addition to SINUS, these include the institutes INTEGRAL, OPINION, SINUS-Consult, Michael Bauer Micromarketing (MBM), and the SINUS:akademie (which offers talks, workshops and further training). All of them are active in empirical market and social research, and marketing consulting. All act independently, with complementary competencies and offerings.
The parent company INTEGRAL-SINUS GmbH was founded as the owner of the institutes INTEGRAL (Vienna) and SINUS (Heidelberg/Berlin) in 2010, with headquarters in Vienna. The SINUS brand and business consulting subsidiary, SINUS-Consult, which operates in the APAC region, was launched in Singapore in 2014. MBM, which specializes in microgeographic analysis and geomarketing, was opened in Düsseldorf in 2020 with the participation of INTEGRAL-SINUS (25 %). In 2021, the group was expanded to include the OPINION Institute (Nuremberg) and become the INTEGRAL-SINUS-OPINION group.
