  • 1978: founded by Dorothea and Horst Nowak in Heidelberg
  • 2009: INTEGRAL, Vienna takes over the majority of shares in SINUS-Institut
  • 2010: SINUS:akademie was founded

The SINUS network

SINUS-Institut is part of the INTEGRAL-SINUS Group, headquartered in Vienna. Also part of the group is the sister institute of SINUS, INTEGRAL Market and Opinion Research, likewise in Vienna and primarily active on the Austrian market for more than 30 years.

SINUS also maintains a large number of national and international research and consulting collaborations and has built up a worldwide network of experts from a wide range of disciplines: leading agencies and consultants, specialized research institutes, universities, brand technicians, direct marketers and renowned design experts collaborate (often exclusively) with SINUS.

SINUS-Akademie offers a comprehensive range of lectures, workshops and further training courses on social and market research topics.

SINUS is advised by an interdisciplinary scientific advisory board with well-known experts from marketing, management, educational research, urban sociology and the Church.
