Lisa Dauer is our trainee - and we couldn't be happier about that!
Lisa Dauer studied Social Work at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hildesheim (B.A.) and Sociology at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University of Hannover (M.A.).
During her studies, she completed various internships and worked on qualitative and quantitative projects, including lifestyle research, higher education research, and social work. Already during her studies, milieu research was one of her main interests. Good for us, as we were able to recruit her first for an internship in 2021 and then, since 2022, for a traineeship at the Berlin office.
In her free time, she spends her mornings rummaging through flea markets and her evenings with friends playing extensive rounds of board games. Her passion as a gamer is mainly social deduction games - admittedly, no one at SINUS knew what that actually was before.
In her master's thesis, therefore, she unsurprisingly dealt with the "boom" of board games as part of pop culture and an expression of late-modern media nostalgia.
