Maria von Pein graduated from high school in Poland and then spent a gap year in Sydney, Australia. She then studied general linguistics and English at the University of Stuttgart, graduating with a Master of Arts.
Maria is responsible for the organization and administration of the Berlin office. She takes special care that our team there does not lose its creative chaos. As a linguist by training, she has an eye for linguistic subtleties in our reports and translations.
Before joining SINUS, she was a translator and copywriter in the fashion editorial department of an online store and was previously involved in building a global EdTech company.
She spends her free time reading contemporary American and Polish literature. She likes to spend her vacations on- and off-road in a VW bus and on surf trips.
