Every now and then, an intern comes along who makes an extremely positive impression on everyone in the team. Ünal was one such a stroke of luck. That's why it was a "no brainer" to offer him a traineeship with us right away. We were delighted when he joined us full time in March 2020.
Ünal Furtana graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the renowned Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg. Previously, he had studied economics at the University of Ulm from 2014 to 2016.
He spends his free time in front of the screen (untypical of his milieu) – gaming (strategy, not shooting) or watching series. He has watched "The Walking Dead" even faster than our Director Marc Calmbach – respect! But he also leaves the house regularly – especially to play basketball and to travel. So he doesn't pass for a classic nerd.
